Summer Nights on Central
Summer Nights on Central is a fun way to enjoy what Valley City Community has to offer. Our company dancers and those in the Jump Start to Company program get to perform during the band break, creating tons of fun and lasting memories. Even our dance moms join in and perform! We usually take part in one to two Summer Nights on Central events each summer.
Summer Park Performance
We love being part of Music in the Park presented by the Bridges Arts Council. It’s a wonderful opportunity for Valley City and surrounding communities to gather for an evening of live music, song, and dance. Each summer our MSB program “Where Dance Meets Art” joins the lineup—some years featuring students from the program, and other years showcasing our Company dancers as a special performance opportunity.Bring family and friends to enjoy local musicians and singers, experience the creativity of our dancers, and celebrate community arts under the open sky. We’re proud to support the Bridges Arts Council and the Dare to Create Foundation for the Arts to share the joy of performance with our neighbors.
School Performance Opportunities
We offer opportunities throughout the dance season for our company and recreational dancers to perform at local schools. One regular opportunity is a performance at Washington & Jefferson School. These school performances give dancers experience performing for younger audiences, build confidence, and help strengthen community connections. Performances are age-appropriate and tailored to the students and schedule of each school. Teachers and administrators receive program details in advance, and dancers are guided by instructors on appropriate behavior, stage presence, and brief educational introductions when requested.
If you are interested in arranging a school performance or having our dancers visit your classroom, contact the studio to discuss available dates, performance length, repertoire options, and any specific needs or themes for your school.
